Chronic kidney failure is a global public health issue with a significant morbidity rate. Hemodialysis is one of the life-saving treatments for people with end-stage kidney failure. Hemodialysis side effects include psychological changes that result in anxiety. Anxiety in CKD patients is a reaction of CKD patients to frightening situations that occur as a result of development, change, new experiences, and the search for one's identity and life. The goal of this study was to identify anxiety in hemodialysis patients and treat it using relaxation and distraction therapy. Anxiety patients are managed with a nursing care approach. The total number of respondents in this survey was five. The findings revealed that relaxation and distraction therapy can lower anxiety and shift the patient's focus away from anxiety. The study's findings are likely to be used as a source of information in delivering complete nursing care for patients with psychological issues, specifically anxiety.en_US
