Efforts to understand the phenomenon of water evaporation that occurs indoors and outdoors are still being researched by various researchers in the world, to carry out planning involving the process of water evaporation. Previous researchers continue to develop water evaporation rate equations with the aim of predicting the rate of water evaporation that occurs. However, the developed equation has weaknesses such as not being able to answer the phenomena that occur during water evaporation and cannot predict the evaporation rate other than water because the equation does not include changes in the salinity properties of water material during evaporation against time which can affect the rate of water evaporation. This research will focus on the effect of salinity on the evaporation rate of seawater that occurs under forced convection conditions with wind speed variations and salinity variations, where the evaporation rate is influenced by salinity variations. salinity 9 experienced the least mass loss, and salinity 3 experienced the most mass loss.en_US
