Daya Saing Ekspor Komoditas Ikan Tilapia (Nila) Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to determine the competitiveness of exports of Tilapia (Nila) fish commodities of North Sumatra Province and the influence of export competitiveness on exchange rates, production and prices. This study used quarterly data for the period 2012-2021. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data used is secondary data. This research is a time series research. The analytical method used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis method conducted with Eviews 9 and using the RCA method to calculate the competitiveness of North Sumatra Tilapia (Nila) fish commodity exports. The results of this study show that the results of RCA calculations, Tilapia (Nila) fish commodities have competitiveness above average. The exchange rate has a positive effect on the competitiveness of North Sumatra Tilapia (Nila) fish exports. Production has a positive effect on the competitiveness of North Sumatra Tilapia (Tilapia) fish commodity exports. Prices negatively affect the competitiveness of North Sumatra Tilapia (Nila) fish exports
