Abstract

Perineal wound infection and/or wound dehiscence can have dangerous long-term effects. Perineal trauma can occur naturally during vaginal delivery or when health workers or obstetricians make a surgical incision (episiotomy) to widen the vulvar opening and facilitate delivery. Appropriate technology is technology that satisfies societal needs and can be employed effectively. This senior practicum was on six health workers working in the Pantai Cermin Health Center's operating region to examine the effectiveness of two new technology for assessing or monitoring perineal injuries. The efficiency of the Perineal Wound Digital Image Screening/Perineal Wound Image Screening App and the Wound Right online App differ significantly. The nursing diagnoses discovered include the Perineal Wound Digital Image Screening Perineal Wound Image Screening Application and the Wound Right Web Application, which are used to examine or monitor perineal wounds. The intervention for this diagnosis is to provide education by introducing the most recent technological technologies in perineal wound monitoring. The evaluation results show that after receiving nursing education, readiness to increase knowledge of modern technology in assessing or monitoring perineal wounds, specifically the Perineal Wound Digital Image Screening/Perineal Wound Image Screening Application and the Wound Right Web Application, can be properly resolved.
