Uji Adaptasi Jagung Hibrida (Zea mays L.) Varietas Ruby Advanta dengan Pemberian Pupuk Daun di Kecamatan Namorambe Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the growth and yield of the adaptation of Ruby Advanta hybrid corn (Zea mays L.) to foliar fertilizer application in Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency. The study was conducted on Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency, from May 2023 to August 2023. The randomized block design (RBD) method was used with one factors: B0 (without foliar fertilizer application), B1 (foliar fertilizer application with a dose of 2ml), and B2 (foliar fertilizer application with a dose of 4ml). The observed variables were plant height, the number of leaves, stem diameter, the time of male flowering, the time of female flowering the time of harvest, cob length, cob diameter, cob weight per plant, 100-seed weight, sample weight with cob production. The results of the study showed that foliar fertilizer application with concentrations of 2ml and 4ml significantly affected the parameters of leaf count at 6-7 DAS, stem diameter at 5 DAS, cob diameter, cob weight per plant, as well as the growth parameters of male and female flowering, the time of harvest, cob length, 100-seed weight, sample weight with cob production. The weight of production per sample Interaction with foliar fertilizer were not significantly affected the parameters.
