dc.description.abstract | Goutis a disease caused by the accumulation of uric acid crystals in the bloodstream, so that they can attack the joints. Levels of uric acid in the blood that exceed normal limits can cause a buildup of uric acid, this is what can make joints ache. Levels of uric acid values in the blood of women are more than 6 gr/dl and men are 7 gr/dl. Uric acid that exceeds normal limits is generally characterized by severe pain that suddenly attacks the joints in the middle of the night. The number of inflamed joints is less than four (oligoarthritis), and the attack is on one side (unilateral). The skin is reddish, feels hot, swollen, and very painful. Joint swelling generally occurs asymmetrically (one side of the body). This type of writing uses the case study method to find out the problem of nursing care in families with the main nursing problem of gout with a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Clients 1 and 2 have diagnoses namely acute pain, knowledge deficit, physical mobilization barriers. The results of the nursing evaluation carried out showed that the pain experienced by the client was reduced, the patient's physical mobilization was not hampered and family knowledge about gout increased. Nursing students are expected to be able to apply all the concepts and practices they have acquired during their education in managing Nursing Care in Gout Families. | en_US |
