dc.description.abstract | SKTM management at the Medan City Social Service is still far from the target, with reference to data on the number of poor people in Medan City which reached 187,740 people in 2022 and still 4,321 who took care of SKTM. This is interesting to study related to the performance of Medan City Social Service employees in the Certificate of Incapacity (SKTM) Service. As well as to find out the various factors that influence the improvement of the Performance of Medan City Social Service Employees in the Service of Certificate of Incapacity (SKTM).
The research approach chosen is descriptive qualitative research, which describes an object, phenomenon, social setting that will be poured into narrative writing, and is based on the results of observations and interviews, documentation, and provides arguments / opinions on what is found in the field. The informants chosen were the Secretary of the Office, Head of Division, Family Social Security Section, Social Service Analyst, Technical Assistance Provision Compiler, Counter Staff, and the General Public.
The results of the research show that the quality of the work of Medan City Social Service employees for managing SKTM in completing tasks still has deficiencies so it is still not optimal; commitment in completing the tasks of the Medan City Social Affairs Office and the SKTM Program; and improvement and improvement of the quality of work results. The timeliness of work of employees of the Medan City Social Service in managing SKTM includes working techniques to complete tasks according to working time in SKTM services; emphasis on completing tasks on time; and compatibility of time to complete tasks with the SKTM service work plan. Furthermore, the factors that influence the improvement of the performance of employees of the social service of the city of Medan in the service of Certificate of Disability (SKTM) include obstacles related to the performance ability to serve the community. | en_US |
