dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the description of social anxiety in adolescents with alexithymia. This study involved a sample of 404 participants aged 18-21 years in the city of Medan using the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale and the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 using descriptive statistical analysis and produced a picture of social anxiety in the form of 6 categories, namely not suffering, mild, moderate, moderately severe, severe and very severe. Most of the late adolescence group, namely 19.3%, had high social anxiety, or in other words had quite problematic social anxietyen_US
