Erosion is one indicator of natural damage. To see the potential for erosion in the Paluh Besar sub-watershed, it is necessary to calculate the amount of erosion that occurs in each land use. The research aims to determine the magnitude of erosion and the category of erosion hazard level for each land use using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) method using a geographic information system. This research shows that the highest erosion value is on residential land with a value of 138.11 tons/ha/year and the lowest is on pond land with a value of 0.30 tons/ha/year. The highest tolerable erosion value occurred on sugar cane plantations with a value of 27.168 tonnes/ha/yr and the lowest on residential land with a value of 14.175 tonnes/ha/yr. The highest erosion hazard level value is in residential areas with a value of 9.74, which has erosion risk class III with mild criteria, and the lowest is in corn farming, with a value of 1.88, which has erosion risk class II, with light criteria.en_US
