dc.description.abstract | This research is entitled “Sexuality in the Cyber World of Indonesia's Digital Society (Netnographic Study of Twitter Accounts and Followers @banyusadewa). The purpose of this study was to find out how the perspective of Twitter users following the @banyusadewa account towards sexuality and to find out the motives of the account owner and Followers of @banyusadewa in uploading content related to sexuality. This study uses cyber media analysis techniques. The method used is netnography with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were obtained by interviewing @banyusadewa account holders and Followers of the account, carrying out direct observations and collecting data in the form of supporting documents. The theories and concepts used in this research are mass communication, the internet, new media, social media, Twitter, cyberculture, netnography, perception, sexuality in Indonesian society and motives. This study involved 7 informants, namely 6 Followers of the @banyusadewa account and the owner of the @banyusadewa account itself. The results of this study concluded that 1) based on their perspective of uploads related to sexuality, Followers of the Twitter account @banyusadewa were divided into 2 groups, 2) forms of sexuality according to Followers of the Twitter account @banyusadewa were divided into 2 categories, 3) the motives of Followers of the Twitter account @banyusadewa were uploads related to sexuality are to share information about sex and sexuality, to entertain, interact with other social media users and to express their opinions, 4) there is a FoMo (Fear of Missing out) phenomenon that occurs among informants. | en_US |
