dc.description.abstract | The morbidity and mortality of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in
Indonesia is very high where the prevalence of COPD in Indonesia is found at
3.7% per mile with a higher frequency in men than the entire population of the
region. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is one of the 4 main noncommunicable
diseases that cause death in Indonesia (WHO, 2019). The purpose
of this writing is to describe nursing care for patients with chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease in the Mahoni-Meranti Room, Prof. Teaching Hospital.
Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis, University of North Sumatra. The results of the
study found that the main complaints in the three patients were shortness of
breath which increased with light activity and surgical cough which was difficult
to expel. Nursing diagnoses are ineffective airway clearance, ineffective breathing
pattern, impaired gas exchange, ineffective peripheral tissue perfusion, activity
intolerance and nutritional imbalance. Most nursing action plans can be
implemented on nursing implementation and nursing evaluation of nursing
diagnoses that are found to be resolved. It is hoped that room nurses can be even
more active in implementing and documenting it to further improve the quality of
providing nursing care to patient | en_US |
