Smoking habits are considered to give pleasure to smokers, but can have a negative impact on smokers themselves and the people around them. Adolescence is a period of emotional, physical, interest and behavioral changes. Teenagers begin to leave childish attitudes and behavior and begin to show the ability to behave maturely. One of these behaviors is smoking behavior in which cigarettes and various other tobacco products are addictive. One of the efforts made to stop smoking is by using the acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) method or often called acceptance and commitment therapy. ACT is a behavioral cognitive intervention to help individuals learn to accept experiences that are experienced lovingly and build behavior that is in accordance with the values held by individuals. The ACT consists of 4 sessions and each session is held for 30-45 minutes. After implementing nursing with the application of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), the results obtained by the client are still trying to reduce smoking cessation. It is hoped that the school will involve parents to pay attention to students about the dangers of smoking for health.en_US
