dc.description.abstractTeenagers who are addicted to online games will automatically spend their time playing games, games have become a necessity for them, if they don't play games for a few hours, it will cause certain effects such as emotions that are difficult to control so they will get angry and feel offended easily. The games they like are Player Unknown's Battle Grounds (PUBG), Mobile Legend, Free Fire and Garena AOV. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based behavioral cognitive intervention to increase individual psychological flexibility. ACT aims to help individuals learn to accept their experiences lovingly to build behavior that is in accordance with the values held by individuals. Thus, the main focus of ACT is for clients to have a better life. This study aims to provide care related to the application of Acceptance Commitment Therapy to adolescents who have online game addiction at SMA 12 Medan, conducted to 2 teenagers at SMA 12 Medan. The results of this study are after therapy for 3x/week, the teenagers are able to commit to reducing playing time and have a sense of wanting to quit game addiction. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that addiction to playing games in adolescents can be stopped if teenagers are willing to commit to reducing playing time and have a sense of wanting to stop being addicted to playing online gamesen_US
