Abstract

The furniture industry is an industry where raw materials made from wood, rattan and other raw materials will be processed into useful and valuable products. One of these industrial sectors continues to increase in development in Indonesia because it produces artistic interior designs that can provide satisfaction and comfort to consumers. The amount of inventory and orders in the furniture industry affects revenue or profits, meaning costs, time and distance need to be considered. The Usaha Makmur Furniture Industry has an assignment problem which will be solved using the Hungarian method and will optimize the operational time of workers by ± 5% faster.
