Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan Resiko Stunting dengan Pemberdayaan Catin (Calon Pengantin) di Medan Baru
Abstract
Stunting is a state of chronic malnutrition in infants in the first 1,000 days of life which lasts a long time and causes delays in brain development and child development. Health education is one of the primary prevention that can be done to prevent and reduce the risk factors for stunting in CATIN. The purpose of this senior practicum is to apply the management of stunting risk nursing care by empowering CATIN. This senior practical method is carried out by conducting assessments, health screening, education and knowledge level assessment using educational video questionnaires, leaflets and the ELSIMIL application made by BKKBN which can be played in a store that contains various education including pre-marital readiness, pregnancy readiness, reproductive health, contraception and cancer prevention. The management of nursing care was carried out for 3 days located in Medan Selayang 18 July-20 July 2023, where at the first meeting the researchers provided screening and pre-tests, provided stunting prevention education, and on the last day CATIN will be given a post-test. the results obtained before being given education regarding stunting prevention, 3 CATIN the majority knowledge level was lacking in knowledge as many as 5 people (83%), just 1 person (18%) and after being given education and post-test the majority of CATIN knowledge improved by 6 people (100% ). It is recommended for nurses or other health workers to further improve services to clients, especially for CATIN who will be getting married and to provide education about stunting prevention, healthy lifestyles to prevent stunting, and screening.
