dc.description.abstract | Social Forestry Management is regulated by the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 9 of 2021 replacing Regulation No. 89 of 2016. The aim of this research is: to analyze the characteristics of human resources, analyze the priority level of strategies for increasing HR capacity, analyze strategies for increasing HR capacity in the Karya Lestari Farmers Group, Sibaganding Village, Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency. The research was carried out from September to November 2022. The results of the research show that: (1) the characteristics of existing human resources consist of four KUPS, namely Citra Alam Lestari, Sustainable Agroforestry, Sustainable Environmental Services, and Sustainable Honey Sileutu with an average age of members 38 to 40 years. The involvement of young farmers and women in participating in education and training and having members who are knowledgeable about business management but do not have knowledge of institutional management and regional management, (2) the priority level of HR capacity building strategies is the criterion for increasing group knowledge in managing business potential to produce profitable products. has good selling value and sells well in the market, criteria for applying to the relevant agency to be included in group business management training activities, and criteria for establishing cooperation with related parties to help introduce group business products. The alternative sequence is institutional management aspects, regional management aspects, and business management aspects (3) the strategy for increasing HR capacity is the S-O strategy, namely using strengths to take advantage of opportunities. | en_US |
