dc.description.abstract | Adolescence is a phase of development from childhood to adulthood ranging from 12-18 years of age. Adolescence is a period of learning and adjusting to the environment outside the family, including the school environment andcommunity environment. Adolescents will be exposed to the principles given by thefamily. The behavior and psychosocial development of children can be disrupted if the socialization of values instilled by the family is not applied by the child. As a result, adolescents begin to show pathological traits such as delinquency and other dangerous behaviors, including bullying. Bullying is a phenomenon that often occurs in social circles. One of the effects of bullying on adolescents can be social interaction disorders. Therefore, empowering clients and families through education and psychoeducational therapy can help families fulfill the task of child development in adolescence which is the first step to overcome these problems. This senior practicum report aims to implement in adolescents with a diagnosis of social interaction disorder by providing mental health support to adolescents through education and psychoeducational therapy. The results of the provision of nursing care indicate that the child is able to interact gradually and the family has understood how to care for children with social interaction disorders. Nursing care in adolescence can be recommended to be carried out in health services by empowering families through education and psychoeducational therapy for the achievement of children's developmental tasks so that it becomes one of the efforts to prevent mental health problems in adolescents. | en_US |
