Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan Ibu dengan Balita melalui Metode Pendampingan: Konseling pada Masalah Parenting Anak Usia Dini di Lingkungan 9 Kelurahan Tanjung Rejo

Abstract

Parenting is a parenting pattern from parents to their children since infancy even from the womb to maturity, by giving advice and discussing a problem to find a way out. Parenting to children includes physical, intellectual, emotional, and social support, so that in the growth of children is needed support from parents to children. This study took mothers and toddlers as respondents totaling 5 toddlers and 5 mothers of toddlers. This research was conducted in neighborhood 9 of Tanjung Rejo village, Medan. After conducting an assessment, 3 diagnoses were obtained on the problem of parenting mothers with toddlers in Neighborhood 9 of Tanjung Rejo village, the first is knowledge deficit about personal hygiene related to lack of information characterized by lack of knowledge of personal hygiene, both health behaviors tend to be at risk related to lack of exposure to information related to nutrition in toddlers to mothers marked by children who often snack on food containing flavoring ingredients, the third is knowledge deficit about social interaction related to lack of exposure to information about effective communication patterns for toddlers marked by children who still speak in high tones in the environment when interacting. The intervention carried out using the counseling companion method, counseling is a certain method used in the counseling process in order to achieve the desired goal The results of the interventions that have been carried out to 5 toddlers show that there are changes in behavior after visiting with the intervention 3 times. Researchers recommend to future researchers to conduct in-depth discussions related to how the interventions that have been carried out affect the attitudes and behavior of mothers and toddlers.
