Diabetes Mellitus is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by increased blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia) due to damage to insulin secretion, insulin work, or both. The most common and most commonly found diabetes mellitus is type II diabetes mellitus. With proper dietary pattern settings, it can prevent instability of blood glucose levels. The purpose of senior practice is to apply the theories and concepts of nursing care (study, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Management of nursing care is given to clients of type II diabetes mellitus by providing education about dietary patterns to overcome instability in blood glucose levels. This type of case study is descriptive. The subject of this case study was Mr. C a patient with Type II Diabetes Mellitus. The results of the case study on Mr. C's client had decreased blood glucose levels and were within normal limits. It is recommended for families to apply the right diet to be able to maintain the stability of the client's blood glucose levels so as to support recovery and improve quality of life.
