Hypertension is defined as an increase in systolic blood pressure greater than or equal to 140mmHg, and an increase in diastolic pressure greater than or equal to 90mmHg. Treatment for hypertension can be carried out in two methods, namely by pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques. One of the non-pharmacological techniques that can be used to lower blood pressure is by giving complementary therapy by soaking feet in warm water with a mixture of salt. Providing foot soak therapy using warm water with a mixture of salt can be used as an independent measure to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients in addition to pharmacological treatment. This senior practicum activity is carried out through assessment with interviews and observation. From the results of the study, it was found that there was a lack of knowledge related to hypertension and the risk of decreased cardiac output with afterload changes, namely conditions where there is a risk of inadequate pumping of the heart to meet the body's metabolic needs. The interventions carried out on client 1 and client 2 got the same result, namely there was a decrease in blood pressure. This research is expected to be information in improving nursing care, and improving family nursing care, especially in people with hypertension.en_US
