    Abstract
Hermetia illucens larvae is decomposer that can be cultivated in various type of organic material by converting organic waste into larval food and organic fertilizer. This research aims to determine the effect of feed treatment on larval growth, larvae survival percentage, pupa weight, and analysis of decomposed feed for H.illucens larvae. This research was carried out at the Plant Disease Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra, Medan, North Sumatra from May to July 2023. This research used a non-factorial complete randomized design (CRD) with 5 feed treatments and 4 replications. The results of research on treatment with 50g/replication of palm kernel meal resulted in the shortest larva Hermetia illucens growth period of ± 17-19 days, larval survival percentage of 98,5%, and pupa weight of 15g when compared with treatment with brad feed, vegetable waste and fruit waste. Nutrient analiysis of decomposed feed of Hermetia illucens larvae, feed treatment with a mixture of palm kernel meal 12,5 g + bran 12,5 g + vegetable waste 12,5 g + fruit waste 12,5 g meets the criteria for solid organic fertilizer, with C/N ratio of 15,06%. Feed treatment with 25 g of bran produces the elements P2O5 and K2O the highest are 3,11 % and 3,20%.
