dc.description.abstract | Diabetes Mellitus (DM) type 2 is a metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia, in this condition the pancreas is able to produce insulin, but the body's cells cannot use insulin efficiently to convert glucose into energy. The cause of DM is not known with certainty, but there are several factors that can influence it, namely genetics, obesity, autoimmune diseases, and viruses. Besides that, other factors such as environment, economy, and culture can also affect the occurrence of DM. Method Diabetic foot exercise is a practical natural exercise in increasing perfusion to the periphery and as a prevention of complications in type 2 DM patients, especially to the feet. The methodology used was a study with 3 adult samples conducted from 13 July 2023 to 19 July 2023. The results of the study found that the average type 2 diabetes is caused by factors of increasing age and heredity. The nursing diagnoses that are upheld are Acute Pain b/d Physiological agents of injury injury, Activity intolerance b.d weakness and Imbalance of Nutrition b.d biological factors nausea vomiting and Risk of Injury b.d Sensory Depletion. Implementation is done by teaching clients to recognize the disease process and explain the relationship between the disease process and treatment. The conclusion of the evaluation of nursing care has a positive impact, namely the addition of knowledge about the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. | en_US |
