Fungsi Pedah-Pedah Pesta Perkawinan pada Masyarakat Karo di Desa Rumah (Berastagi, Kecamatan Berastagi Kabupaten Karo)

Patricia Anggreni Purba 180905040 (2023),The Function Of Wedding Party Addicts In The Karo Community In TheVillage House (Berastagi,Berastagi District, District Karo). This Thesis Consists Of Five Chapters And Seventeen Pictures Research title:The Function Of Wedding Parties in Society Karo In Home Village (Berastagi,Berastagi sub-district,Karo Regency) The author wants to see how the existence of swords in marriage in Karo Batak Community.The aim of this research is to see the function of pedahs in wedding ceremonies in society Karo and its cultural values. The research method uses a qualitative approach with techniques observation and in-depth interviews using (interview guide) The information is 2 pairs of bride and groom and their families along with traditional leaders and local communities. The research results illustrate that surgery is carried out as traditional ceremonies but some things have undergone changes where they no longer exist takes a long time,and also the words/messages are different changed to suit current developments. With Pedah-Pedah, we will know the basics of Karo traditional marriage, how to live life after marriage and so that Karo traditional traditions are not lost along with the development of time.
