Pascaoperative pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience resulting from actual and potential tissue damage. Sectio caesarea is an artificial birth, by making an incision 10-15 cm long in the abdominal wall and uterine wall. Laparotomy is a surgical procedure on the abdomen. The purpose of this senior practicum is to apply nursing theories and concepts, especially maternity nursing in applying the Benson relaxation technique and providing nursing care to clients with pascaoperative sectio caesarea pain and laparotomy. Nursing care was carried out on July 3 2023 - July 29 2023 for three pascaoperative patients by carrying out non-pharmacological pain management. The results obtained after the application of the Benson relaxation technique, the three patients responded well to the application of the Benson relaxation technique. Patients understand how to manage pain non-pharmacologically, so that patients are able to practice Benson relaxation techniques independently and manage pain. It is recommended that patients continue to practice the Benson relaxation technique in managing pain in pascaoperative wounds.en_US
