Abstract

Health service facility is a place used to organize health service efforts, both promotive (health improvement), preventive (prevention efforts), curative (treatment) and rehabilitative (health recovery) carried out by the district/city government. The health center has the task of carrying out health policies in order to meet development goals for health in its working area. So, the quality of health services is pointing to the level of health services that show a sense of satisfaction in each patient. A perineal wound is defined as a tear in the uterine birth canal or due to episiotomy during fetal delivery, Perineal tears occur almost during the first delivery and not infrequently also occur in subsequent deliveries. In postpartum mothers, one of the causes of morbidity is the incidence of perineal wounds. Improper perineal care can result in the condition of the perineum becoming a breeding ground for bacteria that can cause perineal infection. Objective: This senior pratical method was conducted by assessing, screening, and performing perineal wound care în postpartum mothers. Number of samples. A total of 4 (Post Partum mothers and midwives) in Pantai Cermin Kanan Village. Conclusion: Postpartum mothers have never received health care/counseling related to perineal wounds during pregnancy and ofier childbirth from medical personnel. The lack of health services by providing health education and updated methods of perineal wound care for postpartum mothers has an impact on the knowledge and independence of mothers towards the care of their perineal wounds.
