Introduction. Dengue infection is one of the global health problems in tropical countries. In recent decades, Indonesia is one of the endemic countries in Southeast Asia. Medan City contributes the second highest number of dengue infections in North Sumatra. Objective. This study was conducted to identify the profile of patients with dengue infection who were admitted to Hj. Adam Malik Hospital Medan in 2021-2022. Method. This study reports data from medical records using a cross-sectional study, analyzed with SPSS 27 and presented in frequency and percentage tables. Results and Discussion. Out of 96 study samples, 73 patients (76%) had symptoms of fever with temperature of 38-40°C and 68 patients (70.8%) had nausea/vomiting. The most common bleeding sign, ptechie was found in 16 patients (16,7%). The dominant warning sign was abdominal pain found in 14 patients (33%). There were 69 patients (71,9%) had thrombocytopenia, 58 patients (60.4%) had leukopenia, 69 patients (71,9%) with abnormal lymphocytes, and 53 patients (55.2%) with positive IgG. Conclusion. The report of the study on the profile of dengue infection patients at Haji Adam Malik Medan Hospital in 2021-2022.
