    Abstract
This research aims to evaluate and analyze the concentration of heavy metal content in Road Dust Resuspension-Suspension and understand its distribution pattern on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Medan City. The metal concentration analysis is focused on Fe, Co and Pb metals. Road dust samples were collected using a portable vacuum and simple impinger with three location points. Metal concentration testing was carried out using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) and characterized using X- Ray Fluorescence (XRF) with a variety of JOO mesh and 200 mesh sieves to determine the elements present in the dust samples. Prediction of dust sample concentrations and pollutant distribution using the Gaussian method by taking into account meteorological data obtained from the Medan Meteorolog y, Climatology and Geophysics Agency ( BMKG ). The research results showed that the concentration of each Fe, Co and Pb metal using AAS was 274.8 mg/L; 0.117 mg/L; and 29.45 mg/L. In the XRF characterization test with 100 mesh and 200 mesh sieves, the Fe metal concentration was 6.47% and 6.15%. The direction of dust distribution on Jalan Sisingamangaraja is blowing to the northeast. The concentration of dust pollutants produced at point 1 was 1.566,7846 µg/ m3; point 2 is 842,8058 µg/ m3,· and point 3 is 256,3864 µg/ m3. The concentration of dust samples in the air at point 1 was 350,810.0523 µg/ m3 ; at point 2 is 266,828.2119 µg/ m3 ; and at point 3 it is 258,750.0172 µg/ m3. It is hoped that this research can provide a scientific basis for the distribution of pollutants and increase awareness regarding the impact of heavy metal pollution on human health and the environment.
