Large red chili (Capsicum annum L.) is a type of commodity plant that can grow in the lowlands or temperate climate areas. This plant begins to be harvested 71-75 days after planting. With so much demand for chilies tends to increase as the need for chili seeds also increases, however, generally producing seeds is done manually or mechanically but productivity needs to be increased. The problem that will be solved is to produce a higher yield which the chili separator machine in previous research did not have. The aim of this research is to test the rotation speed of a large red chili seed separating machine with calculation parameters for the effective capacity of the tool, yield and economic analysis. The chili seed separating machine uses pulleys measuring 8 inches, 10 inches and 12 inches. From testing various pulley sizes, the average effective capacity of the tool was 35,725kg/hour, 39,174kg/hour and 43,239kg/hour, respectively. And the average yield results were 87.73%, 86.6% and 90.86% respectively.en_US
