    Abstract
Background: General anesthesia is a state of unconsciousness, amnesia, antinociception, and immobility with physiological stability that is induced by drugs. 1 The main goal is to make the patient unconscious and unable to feel painful stimuli while controlling autonomic reflexes. When carrying out intubation procedures, anesthesiologists often experience quite serious problems during the procedure, namely difficulty breathing. The American Society of Anesthesiologists Task Force on Management of the Difficult Airway defines it as a clinical situation in which a conventionally trained anesthesiologist experiences difficulty with face mask ventilation of the upper airway, difficulty with tracheal intubation or both. Objective: To analyze the correlation between the LEMON, IDS, and Wilson scores in assessing the difficulty of intubation in patients who will undergo general anesthesia procedures. Method: This study used a cross-sectional observational analytical design. This study was conducted to assess the correlation of the LEMON, IDS, and Wilson scores in assessing the difficulty of intubation in patients undergoing General Anesthesia. at Adam Malik Haji Hospital Medan, during April 2023 - July 2023. Results: Statistical analysis using the Spearman test showed a significant correlation between all data and each other (p<0.001). Between LEMON and IDS values, a strong degree of correlation was found (r=0.702), LEMON and Wilson found a strong degree of correlation (r=0.773), and between IDS and Wilson there was a strong degree of correlation (r=0.796). Conclusion: The results of the correlation test show that the strongest correlation is between IDS and Wilson with a strong degree of correlation (r=0.796), however the score that is considered the best is the LEMON score with the highest AUC, sensitivity and specificity values
