Perbandingan Kadar Troponin I pada Pasien Infark Miokard Akut dengan Stemi dan Nstemi di RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan Tahun 2022
Abstract
Background: Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is the most common cause of
mortality worldwide. Acute myocardial infarct divides into two, which are Non-ST
Elevation Myocardial Infarct (NSTEMI) and ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction
(STEMI). Although STEMI and NSTEMI have different pathophysiologies, they are
nearly identical when compared using laboratory parameters such as troponin.
Objective: To compare whether there are significant differences in laboratory
parameters of STEMI and NSTEMI patients at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital,
Medan, Indonesia. Methode: An observational analytic study using a crosssectional
design was conducted between January and December 2022. The study's
total sample was 168 samples, consisting of 119 samples with STEMI and 49
samples with NSTEMI. The normality test was analysed using the Kolmogorov
Smirnov test. The difference test was analysed using the Mann-Whitney test. Result:
There were 119 subjects (100%) with a mean of troponin I is 11,7 ng/mL, while in
NSTEMI there were 49 subjects (100%) with a mean of troponin I is 5,4 ng/mL.
The results of statistical analysis using the man-whitney test obtained a P-value of
0.001. Conclusion: There are significant difference in troponin values between
STEMI and NSTEMI, it was found that troponin I values in STEMI were higher
than NSTEMI.
