    Abstract
Job opportunities are a condition that describes the availability of jobs to be filled by job seekers. This research aims to determine the influence of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK) and the number of labor force on employment opportunities in Medan City in 1991-2021. The type of research used is quantitative research. This research uses documentation data in the form of time series data obtained directly from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Medan City Office, the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), namely https://perpustakaan.bps.go.id/ and https://www.bps.go.id/ as well as the North Sumatra Province Employment Service namely https://disnaker.sumutprov.go.id/ 1991-2021. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this research show that partially GRDP has an insignificant negative effect on employment opportunities, MSEs has a significant negative effect on employment opportunities, and the size of the workforce has an insignificant negative effect on employment opportunities. Simultaneously GRDP, UMK and the number of labor force influence employment opportunities by 89.5%, while the remaining 10.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
