Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Ibu dengan Balita Menggunakan Metode Pendampingan Asistensi : Asuhan Diri pada Pemantauan Tumbuh Kembang Balita di Lingkungan IX Kelurahan Tanjung Rejo

Abstract

Child growth and development are two different processes, but they cannot be separated. Developmental deviations must be detected early so that more severe and persistent effects can be intervened early to prevent disorders, one of which is stunting. The role of parents in monitoring and stimulating their children's growth and development during toddlerhood is needed to optimise children's development and detect disorders early. Increased knowledge of parents, especially mothers, is needed for optimal growth and development of toddlers. Comprehensive and quality child development coaching that is carried out thoroughly and coordinated is organised in the form of partnerships between families, communities and professionals. Utilisation of WhatsApp groups as a means of teleconsultation and education is an effective platform for monitoring the growth and development of children under five. The health education intervention on monitoring growth and development using WhatsApp groups was carried out for 3 days, the results showed that the knowledge of mothers with toddlers in neighbourhood IX of Tanjung Rejo village was in the moderate category (60%) before health education and good category (80%) after health education.
