dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to identify and describe the signs of feminism in the movie Enola Holmes 2 based on semiotic perspective. Methods of data analysis in this study using descriptive analysis method. The data collection method used in this study is the documentation method. The theory used in this research is John Fiske’s Semiotic that consist of Reality as the first stage, Representation Electronically as the second stage, and Ideology as the third stage. The concept used in this research is Feminism. The results of this study show that there are 35 signs of feminism found in the movie Enola Holmes 2. There are 15 signs indicate Reality that consist of appearance, clothing, personality, behavior, expression, conversation, independence, and intelligence. Eight signs indicate Electronic Representation that consist of dialogue and photos. Twelve signs indicate Ideology that consist of discrimination, sarcasm, patriarchy, social issues, and feminist action) which is the third stage of television code theory.en_US
