Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Terintegrasi Berbasis Android : Studi Kasus Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Information dissemination in the agricultural sector such as land area, puso area, harvest area (initial and final) and other related information as well as data collection activities of Farmer Groups in Deli Serdang Regency has not been evenly distributed. Therefore a solution is needed in the form of designing an appropriate program or information system so that these activities can run quickly and smoothly. This study aims to build an integrated information system based on the Android application at the Deli Serdang Regency Agriculture Office so that it is able to present information about agriculture. The method used in this study is the method of observation and literature study, namely data collection by seeking information and conducting interviews with staff and officials at the Agriculture Service Office of Deli Serdang Regency. The result of this research is an Android-based information system which is expected to facilitate the administrators and staff of the Deli Serdang District Agriculture Service in disseminating information, assisting Service Staff and farmers, especially farmer group leaders in carrying out counseling programs and poktan evaluations quickly, accurately, securely and in a simple interface that is easy to use and can be accessed remotely from different places at the same time. The application is designed using appsgeyser software, MySQL.
