dc.description.abstract | Transformational leadership is relational leadership where followers have trust and respect for the leader and are motivated to do more than expected to achieve organizational goals. Each nurse in carrying out handovers has different perceptions, this is due to different levels of education, individual attitudes/ behaviors, motivations, interests, interests, experiences and expectations of something that is perceived. Transformational leaders can provide examples, motivations, expectations and views on better and optimal handover implementation through the four dimensions of transformational leadership including ideal/charismatic influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individual consideration. This senior practice aims to determine transformational leadership in improving nurses' perceptions of handover implementation. The media used is in the form of posters and manuals for the implementation of bedside handover. The results showed that the implementation of handovers in the mahogany meranti inpatient room was still not optimal, this was evidenced by observations made by the author still found shortcomings in the implementation of handovers such as when bed side handover activities in the afternoon shift with night shifts were rarely carried out and the head of the room rarely participated in handover activities, and the nurse also said that there was often misinformation during the implementation of handovers. It is expected that nursing leaders can apply transformational leadership to improve nurse perceptions and handover quality in nursing care services. | en_US |
