Analisis Variasi Putaran Pulley pada Alat Pemecah dan Pemisah Biji Cangkang Kemiri (Aleurites Moluccanus L)
Analysis of variations in pulley rotation on a toll for breaking and separating karnels from candelnut ( Aleurites Moluccana L ) shells
Abstract
Pulley is a receiver or converter of rotary power and moment of force associated with each v-belt, while the transmission is amechanism to convert power to produce variabel output power. This research aims to test the rotation speed of the pulley, namely the size 6 inch,8 inch, 10 inch on the tool for breaking and seperating karnels from candelcut shells on the influenceof theparameters of effective capacity of the tool, fuel consumption, separated karnels, torque. This research used a non-factorial completely randimized design method with three treatments, namely P1 with a rotatio speed of 1150 rpm, P2 with a rotatio speed of 900 rpm, with a rotatio speed of 700 rpm. The largest effective capacity of the tool is found in the P1 treatment of 73.564 kg / hour, the largest fuel consumption is found in the P3 treatment of 0.808 l / hour, the largest separate seeds are found in the P3 treatment of 42.446%, the largest non-separated seeds in the P1 treatment of 7.722% and the largest torque is found in the P3 treatment of 71.273 N/m.
