dc.description.abstractThis research aims to describe the intrinsic elements in the Putri Bidasari Folklore such as theme, characters and characterization, setting, plot, point of view and message. As well as the social interactions that occur in the Putri Bidasari Folklore. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The theory used in this research is structural and sociological literary theory which focuses on social interaction. The data source in this research is the Putri Bidasari Folklore Book. The data collection technique in this research is the reading, listening and notetaking technique. The analysis technique in this research is text analysis in the Putri Bidasari Folklore. The results of this research are that in the intrinsic elements there is a theme of patience and not giving up when facing life's trials. Characters and characterization, there are 9 protagonists and 1 antagonist. The plot in this folk tale is a forward plot. The location setting is 11 data, the time setting is 10 data and the socio-cultural background is 2 data. The point of view used in this folk tale is third person point of view. The message contained in the folk tale Putri Bidasari is that God has created humans in His image. Man must not go against His will. What is within him must be accepted sincerely and sincerely. Whatever form it takes. As humans, we must be willing to realize and accept all our respective strengths and weaknesses. Acknowledge other people's strengths. Be aware of your own shortcomings. If humans could do something like this, their hearts would be happy and they would not feel jealous of other people. Social behavior in this folklore is prioritizing shared interests rather than one's own interests, being helpful, generous and caring for Sesame. Social interaction is associative in nature, cooperation in the Putri Bidasari folklore is cooperation totaling 7 data, accommodation totaling 1 data, assimilation totaling 2 data. Social interaction is dissociative in nature, competition is 1 data, conflict is 1 data and conflict is 1 data.en_US
