The aim of this study is to determine the potential impact of the Quizizz application on the development of vocabulary proficiency among 3rd-grade students at MTs TPI Gunung Melayu. This research used the pre-experimental research methodology, specifically utilizing a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The research population consisted of third-grade students at MTs TPI Gunung Melayu during the 2023–2024 academic year. The overall population size was 65 students. The experimental class, IX-2, was selected as the sample using random cluster sampling. The researcher collected the data by giving pre-tests and post-tests. SPSS 26 version was used to analyze the research's data. The result of the research shows that the Quizizz application significantly increased students' vocabulary mastery. The mean score in the pre-test was 42.34, while in the post-test it was 89.22. The t-test result also shows that the t count is bigger than the t table (22.240 >2.039) and the Sig. (2-tailed) is less than 0.05, so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and H0 is rejected. It means that there is a significant effect on students’ learning achievement after applying Mayer's Multimedia principal theory to the Quizizz application. The calculation of the effect size was 3.93, which is in the range of effect criteria included for a strong effect. It means that there is a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of Quizizz.en_US
