Pengaruh Pengeluaran Pemerintah dan Investasi terhadap Kesenjangan Pendapatan Melalui Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Sumatera Barat

Abstract

The objective of the research was to examine and analy:.e the influence of government's expenditures and investment on income discrepa11cy through economic growth of Districts in West Suma/era Province. The research used quantitative approach while the data consisted of second01J1 data, using Path Analysis with 190 panel data, consisted of time series of ten years (2011-2020). They were combined with 19 Districts as cross section data. The data were analyzed by using Multiple Regression Analysis and Path Analysis. The result of Path Analysis showed that the variable of government's expenditures had negative and significant influence on economic growth, and the variable of investment had negative and insignificant influence of economic growth. The variable of government's expenditures had negative and significant influence on income discrepancy, and the variable of investment had negatil e and insign[ficant influence on income discrepancy. Meanwhile, the variable of economic gro1rtJ1 had positive and significant influence o_f income discrepancy.
