Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan Keluarga pada Anggota Keluarga dengan Hipertensi di Lingkungan III Kelurahan Pantai Johor Kota Tanjung Balai

Abstract

Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires lifelong control therapy. Every increase of 20 mmHg in systolic blood pressure or 10 mmHg in diastolic blood pressure can increase the risk of death from ischemic heart disease and stroke. Controlled blood pressure can reduce the risk of death, cardiovascular disease, and stroke. The purpose of this senior practicum is to provide family nursing care to family members who have hypertension. The phenomenon that occurred regarding the incidence of hypertension was obtained when in the neighborhood of Johor Beach, 10 people were detected with hypertension. The results obtained were that there was a decrease in blood pressure in 10 respondents before and after being given the intervention and families who previously did not know about hypertension and how to treat hypertension after the intervention understood how to treat families suffering from hypertension and improve self-care for sufferers hypertension. The conclusion obtained after carrying out the process of family nursing care is that there is an increase in the role of family health tasks with family members with hypertension in Environment III, Johor Beach Village, Tanjung Balai City.
