dc.description.abstractCholesterol is a fatty substance that is made in the liver and saturated fat from food. The main nursing problem that arises in clients with hypercholesterolemia is the instability that occurs in increasing blood cholesterol concentrations that exceed normal values. One way to deal with an increase in blood cholesterol levels is to increase the understanding of each family member in caring for family members who have hypercholesterolemia. The aim of this senior practicum is to provide family nursing care to family members who have hypercholesterolemia. The results obtained from this senior practice are that there are differences in blood cholesterol levels in respondents before and after being given nursing interventions through a family approach, in other words it can be concluded that the understanding of each family member in dealing with and preventing hypercholesterolemia from an early age is more effective in the community in Environment XI Tanjung Rejo Village.en_US
