Abstract

Preconceptional care is the provision of biomedical, behavioral and social health interventions or actions to women and their partners before pregnancy that are useful for improving health status and reducing behavioral and individual and environmental factors that contribute to poor maternal and neonatal health. Women of childbearing age are women of childbearing age aged 15-49 years. The period before pregnancy (preconception) is the right time to improve the health of WUS, especially optimizing the body's condition in preparation for the pregnancy process. This senior practicum aims to apply the theory of need care through preconception care in women. Intervention care is related to the importance of preconception care through education health, educating women in making decisions, caring for themselves and helping mothers use health facilities. The results obtained after the intervention were that the mother was able to know the purpose of preconception, was able to make decisions related to appropriate reproductive health measures, was able to carry out preconception care and utilize health service facilities. The advice given to women is to be able to utilize digital information so as to obtain more comprehensive preconception information.
