Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan Keluarga dengan Penerapan Demonstrasi Tentang Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun untuk Meningkatkan PHBS

Abstract

Healthy Behavior Washing Hands with Soap (CTPS) which is one of the Clean and Healthy Behaviors (PHBS) to prevent the entry of germs into the body, where this action is carried out with the benefit of keeping hands clean, eradicating hands of germs and microorganisms, preventing disease transmission, and prevent infection by hand. The main problem that arises for clients is ignorance regarding the importance of applying hand washing with soap. To overcome this, education is needed to increase family understanding regarding the impact of not washing hands. The purpose of this senior practicum is to provide family nursing care to family members who lack knowledge about hand washing behavior. The results obtained in this senior practicum are families who previously did not know how to wash their hands with soap properly, now they understand this and are enthusiastic about implementing it in their daily lives after nursing interventions are carried out through a family approach. It can be concluded that education about washing hands with soap to increase knowledge and motivate families to do it is more effective in the community in village XV, Bandar Khalipah.
