Background. Rape itself is a crime that has existed for a long time and often involves the subject being the victim, so more or less it has not changed over time. Rape does not only occur in big cities in Indonesia, but also in rural areas or villages where habits and customs are still firmly embedded in people's lives. As a result of the pandemic, the number of immoral crimes in Indonesia, including rape and molestation, has increased. Aim. To find out the level of knowledge of students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra Class of 2020 and 2022 regarding rape. Methods. This type of research is descriptive in nature and aims to see the level of knowledge of students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra in 2020 and 2022 regarding rape. Data collection was carried out using a cross sectional study design with a total of 84 respondents. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. The data collected was taken directly from respondents via Google Form and processed using the SPSS application then analyzed and displayed in the form of a frequency distribution table. Results. The results of this research show that the majority of respondents have good knowledge about rape, namely 77 people (91.7%) out of 84 respondents, followed by moderate knowledge with 6 people (14.3%) and poor knowledge with 1 person (2.4%). Conclusion. In general, students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra have a good level of knowledge about rape.
