dc.description.abstractIntroduction. Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a transient disorder of insulin intolerance that occurs during pregnancy. The incidence of DMG is dangerous for the mother and fetus because it causes adverse complications so that the knowledge of pregnant women about DMG needs to be improved. Objective. To know the knowledge of pregnant women about gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods. This study is a descriptive study that uses a cross sectional method. The research subjects consisted of 100 respondents, namely pregnant women in the practice of Dr. dr. Johny Marpaung, M.Ked (OG), Sp.OG (K). Data were analyzed using the SPSS version 25 application. Results and Discussion. In 100 respondents found respondents with a good level of knowledge about gestational diabetes mellitus (35%), sufficient (43%) and less (22%). Conclusion. The majority of pregnant women have a sufficient level of knowledge about gestational diabetes mellitusen_US
