dc.description.abstract | This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the moral values in the
anime "Bocchi The Rock" related to the values of "Ganbaru," which is the spirit
of perseverance, hard work, and never giving up, and "Omoiyari," which
represents empathy and concern for the feelings or needs of others. Through this
analysis, the research will explore how these two moral values are reflected in the
characters, plot, and messages conveyed in the anime. This study uses a threestage
data collection method, which includes data collection, data analysis, and
data presentation. Data collection involves watching the anime "Bocchi The
Rock" by downloading it from 9anime.id and obtaining Japanese subtitles from
Kitsunekko.net. The analysis method is qualitative, focusing on the moral values
reflected in the characters' behavior. Data is presented descriptively with the
original dialogue and Indonesian translations. The theoretical framework used for
this analysis includes morality and semiotics to support the examination of moral
values in this anime. The results of the analysis of the "Ganbaru" moral value in
several scenes of "Bocchi The Rock" show qualities such as perseverance,
resilience, determination, and not giving up when facing difficult situations,
which are evident in the transformation experienced by the character Hitori. The
results for the "Omoiyari" value can be observed through the interactions and
behaviors of the characters, especially through their actions of empathy,
compassion, or understanding the needs of others. | en_US |
