Allergic rhinitis patients are at risk of developing Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) due to repeated obstruction of the upper airway so that air flow to the lungs becomes obstructed. Aim. To analyze the relationship between TNSS score for allergic rhinitis patient and OSA in students at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara batch 2020-2022.Methods. This study is a correlative-analytical research with a cross sectional study design. The sample of this study were 129 students in the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara batch 2020-2022 who suffer from allergic rhinitis based on SFAR questionnaire and selected using total sampling method. The analysis used is Chi-Square test. Results. The results showed of 129 students, There were seven students with a high degree of allergic rhinitis based on TNSS and 33 experienced a high risk of OSA based on Berlin questionnaire. Statistical analysis showed an association between TNSS score for allergic rhinitis patient and OSA based on Berlin questionnaire (p=0,000). Conclusion. There is a significant association between TNSS score for allergic rhinitis patient and OSA based on Berlin questionnaire.
