This research discusses the history of Aek Nagaga Hospital under the ownership of PTP VI Pulu Raja and also the causes of the decline of Aek Nagaga Hospital. The aim of the research is to determine the takeover process of Aek Nagaga Hospital under the ownership of PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk by PTP VI Pulu Raja in 1987 from the condition of the Aek Nagaga Hospital under the ownership of PTP VI Pulu Raja, as well as the causes of the decline of the Aek Nagaga Hospital. The method used in this research is the historical method with the initial stages, namely Heuristics (collecting written sources and informant sources), Source Criticism (to determine the truth and authenticity of sources), Interpretation (interpreting or analyzing sources), Historiography (historical writing). In collecting data, researchers used library research, namely collecting literature from books in the University of North Sumatra Library and the Regional Library of North Sumatra Province. Apart from that, the author also used field studies by visiting PTP VI Pulu Raja and at the same time conducting interviews with resource persons. The results of this research show that Aek Nagaga Hospital is one of the largest hospitals ever built in the Asahan area in 1920. This can be seen based on the number of 54 buildings and stands on a land area of 8 hectares. Aek Nagaga Hospital is intended as a health center for employee members of the association and also the surrounding community. In 1987, Aek Nagaga Hospital was taken over by PTP VI Pulu Raja. At this time, Aek Nagaga Hospital faced many problems, starting from the decline in patients being referred and many medical personnel being transferred. This decline was caused by the large number of health facilities being built in the area around Aek Nagaga Hospital and also the hospital's non-strategic location, namely 10 km from the Sumatra highway. As time went by and problems continued in 1992, Aek Nagaga Hospital officially stopped operating.en_US
