Perspektif Semiotika pada Film Blind War Karya Lin Laogou: Kajian Semiotik Analitik

Abstract

This research is entitled "Semiotic Perspective on the Film Blind War by Lin Laogou: Analytical Semiotic Study". This research aims to (1) Describe the types of analytical semiotic signs found in the film Blind War in 2022. (2) Describe the meaning of analytical semiotic signs found in the film Blind War in 2022. The theory used in this research is semiotic theory by Charles Sanders Peirce. The data in this research are Peirce's analytical semiotic signs in one of his object-based trichotomies. The data in this research are words, sentences and images from films. The data source for this research is oral, namely the film Blind War 《盲目的战争 Mángmù dì zhànzhēng》which can be obtained from the IQIYI application internet site and can be downloaded via the Play Store or App Store. The data in this study was collected using the listening method by Mansun and the note-taking method by Mahsun, namely the note-taking technique. The results of this research show (1) the types of analytical semiotic signs in the Blind War film based on objects are icon signs, index signs, and symbolic signs. (2) The meaning of analytical semiotic signs in the Blind War film based on objects are icon signs, index signs, and symbol signs.
