Profil Pengetahuan, Sikap, dan Perilaku Wanita Usia Subur terhadap Penggunaan KB Hormonal di Desa Tembung Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan
Abstract
Background: Family Planning is a program that provides solutions for couples to achieve the desired number of children, if any, and to determine the spacing of pregnancies using contraception and infertility methods. The world is still experiencing problems related to the lack of success of family planning program activities, namely increasing maternal and child mortality rates, as well as high population numbers. This happens because of the public's lack of understanding about family planning. Objective: To determine the description of knowledge, attitudes and behavior based on age, highest level of education and number of children. Method: This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach using non-probability sampling technique, accidental sampling. This data collection uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validation and reliability and filled in by the respondent. Results: Of the 100 research samples, the majority had a very good level of knowledge (46%). The level of knowledge based on the characteristics of respondents showed that most age groups, education and number of children had very good knowledge. Most respondents agreed (96%). Attitudes based on the characteristics of respondents were obtained by all groups of age, education and number who had an agreeable attitude. Most respondents have positive behavior (53%). Based on the characteristics of respondents, it was found that most age groups, education and number of children had positive behavior. Conclusion: Most respondents have very good knowledge, agreeable attitudes and positive behavior.
